Winterfest parade

The kids and I went to the city's annual Winterfest parade tonight.  It was fun!!  It was lightly snowing the whole time.  The kids got tons of candy & freebies from all of the floats.

And here's a cute picture of Patrick & Savannah reading by the Christmas tree tonight.

O' Christmas Tree....

We got our Christmas tree yesterday afternoon.  This year I decided to get rid of most of our old decorations, and go way more traditional.  I love the way everything is coming together.

Thanksgiving in Tucson

I'm realizing the need to keep our blog updated.  While writting the annual christmas letter, looking back on the blog seems to be the only way we can remember things.

So for Thanksgiving we traveled to my sisters home in Tucson.  We were all super excited to be leaving town.  We enjoyed ourself very much.  It was so warm there, high 80's it was a nice break from the cold.  We had a super yummy dinner that included a delicous smoked tukey, sweet potato casserole,  corn casserole, stuffing and much more.  I helped with some desserts, Chocolate pecan pie, and a Pumpkin roll.  The kids had a really cute table of their own.

I had to get two plates, so I could try all the yummy food.  Click the pictures to enlarge.

Major Catch up

Life has been busy!!  The last thing I want to do when I get home from work is blog.  I have been taking pictures, so I'll do a catch up of what we've been up to recently.

A few weeks ago the kids opened a Cafe complete with a full menu, and Patrick & I enjoyed a night off from cooking. Savannah was the Waitress, Griffin was the cook, Trevor was the Manager

Just before we left for out Thanksgiving trip, we put up our Christmas lights.

Griffin has a buisness at school, pencil boxes. He charges about .25 but, he can do custom colors, and shapes which he charges extra for.
