On Saturday our family did the Color Run.  We all had a blast together!

 

 

 

Dryer woes

Our dryer stopped working a few weeks ago, maybe It's been a month.  Since then we've been drying our clother outside on the trampoline  :)

I am grateful that for the most part the weather has been nice, so it hasn't been a problem. 
The last few days though it has been rainy, so now I'm a bit behind.  We just got the part in that we need to fix the dryer, Patrick will fix it this weekend, yay!

Back to School

This morning school started for the younger kids.  Griffin is in 4th & Savannah is in 2nd.

Another year closer to 40

Yeterday we celebrated my birthday.  It was a relaxing day.  For dinner we we out for some yummy Greek food.  We took the kids to a beautiful park to play, then came home to cake & ice cream.

Tonight my friends had a surprise birthday celebration for me.

We celebrated with yummy food, and scary movies!!

Middle School

Trevor started Middle school!!  He has gone two days so far, and he loves it.

His electives are Gifted & PE.

It's hard to believe how fast time has gone, next thing we know he'll be driving!  

15 years later

Patrick and I have been together for 15 years now.  We met and started dating late July, 1997.

A few weeks ago we went to a Blue's Traveler/ Barenaked ladies concert together.  It was even more fun because this was the music we listened to while we were dating.

We could not bring camera's in, so we didn't get any really good pictures.  It was a fun night, and I know I enjoyed reminiscing.

What's been going on

Since I've been recovering, we have not done much.  Trevor went to his first sleep away camp for Boy Scouts, and had a blast!  I was so happy to have him home to hug though.  We took advantage of the tax free weekend for the first time ever, and went back to school shopping.  There were some great sales.  The kids now have all the clothes, shoes, and supplies they need for the upcoming school year.

Recovering

I had Surgery on Monday.  I'm doing ok, I guess.  Here's hoping I bounce back quickly.
