Update on us

I've started working, and it seems there is no free time anymore.  We have been busy, here is some stuff that we've been up to.

Last weekend we rearanged the kids rooms.  Savannah got the boys bunk beds, but she just using the loft part, I still need to paint it white, she loves it!!

 

 

Trevor's Dancing Classrooms group left the Albuquerque Dance Fiesta with a standing ovation.

We enjoyed the elementry school Fall Carnival.  It was a lot of fun.  Griffin won 3 2 liter bottles of soda, and a cake!

SURPRISE

Savannah has been wanting a pet of her very own for awhile now.  More recently every time we go to the pet store, she asks for a fish.  Yesterday while the kids were at school, we stopped by the pet store to buy bird food.  Patrick went off on his own, and when I found him he had a small tank, and some fish stuff.  He decided to surprise Savannah with her fish.  We got it all set up so when she got home she could discover her surprise.  When she got home I asked her to go upstairs to make sure her room was clean.  These pictures are taken in order of her discovering her surprise.

Fall weather

I'll be honest, I just have not been feeling like blogging.  I got a job (should start this week) and I am enjoying being free for a few more days.  We are all doing good.  The weather has been changing.  It's feeling like fall.  These pictures are from last Wednesday during a rain storm.  Soccer was called off for the night, and the kids enjoyed an evening of no activities. 

 

Soccer Season begins again!

Griffin's game was up first. He is playing for a new club & team this year.  Rush Galaxy!
He is the offical goalie for the team (his favorite position).  He was doing amazing, until he got injured,  He hurt his hand while blocking a ball.  He was in so much pain he was out the rest of the game. Patrick thinks it's just a really bad bruise.  It pretty swollen 8 hours later.  Hopefully he'll be back in the game next week.  One coach said he was a Beast in the goalie box.

 

 

 

Savannah is also playing for a new club & team this year. Ayso Pink Panthers!

Savannah did great, she scored the first goal of the game.  After the game she was picked to get the sportsmanship  pin, which she was thrilled about (I'll have to get a picture from a friend , my camera battery died).  It was a good start to the season!

Projects

Griffin and I (mostly Griffin) have been building a dollhouse that we are going to turn into a haunted house for Halloween.

 

 

Griffin made some yummy peppermint brownies from scratch.

 

 

Trevor made his first school project of the year for gifted.  The solar system represents the different levels of cognitive learning.

 

I started work on a Halloween countdown sign.  I'm actually mostly done now, but waiting till closer to October to show off. 

Take me out to the ballgame

 

 

Last night we went to an isotopes baseball game.  It was super crowded!  By the time we got there there was only burm seating.  The tickets were free, and we had isotopes bucks for the fun zone, so we only spent a ton of money on food  :)
It was a fun time had by all.  Aunt Doroth & I were there, but we are not in any pictures.
The isotopes won, yay!  We also enjoyed fireworks after the game, those were great!
