Freezing cold soccer weekend

This weekend Griffin's team played in a tournament.  It was FREEZING!!  Even with big jackets, thermals, warm boot, blankets, and hot chocolate, we still froze.  It was around 36 with a major wind chill.  As we were leaving Saturday it started to snow.  Griffin's team played well, but did not win the tournament.  With how cold it was, I'm surprised anyone could play.

Saturday game #1 we lost  0-1
Saturday game #2 we lost  0-3
Sunday game we won   5-0

 

 

After we were back in the warmth of our home, I did manage to get a little crafty.  I made a gift for a friend having a baby girl soon.

I know I still need to do a post about Halloween, and I will but for now I'm moving into November.  Today our family made a grateful wreath for our front door.  Everyone got into it, and enjoyed writting things thay are grateful for.  It's that time of year that we Count our Blessings ~~~~
