Science Guy

A few weeks back Griffin came home from school wanting to do a bunch of science expermients.  He made Goo, worked really hard on making his own lightbulb, and made a water bottle bomb.

 

I love his constant desire to learn!

Sledding

 

We headed up to the top of Sandia for a day of Sleding.  Right after we got there, Griffin went down a really steep run.  He got going so fast, then hit a bump, then turned around and ended up hitting his back on a tree.  Pat rushed down the hill to see if he was ok.  There were cheers from onlookers when he finally stood up.  He was a trooper, and still had fun even though he had an injury.

 

We stayed as long as we could, before all the kids were frozen.  It was a great family day!

14 Years!

We woke up this morning to breakfast in bed.

 

Next the kids gave us sweet cards.  Check out this cute one Savannah made.

 

To celebrate our 14 years of marriage, we went out to Dinner, and then went to see the movie

les miserables.

 I only took a picture of our yummy dessert.  It was a really nice evening.  I'm so happy to have such a great husband, and a happy marriage.

Ringing in a New Year

For our last day of the year we decided to go to the Zoo, and renew our membership.  It was pretty chilly, so we didin't stay long.  We only saw two other people the entire time we were there.

 We made friends with this bird.  He was cute, and talked to us.

 We're pretty sure this guy is flipping us off in the picture.  He was funny. We'd clap, then he'd clap.

After the Zoo we has lunch a Flying Star, yum!

 

At home we enjoyed junk food, and hing out until it was time to ring in the New Year.

 

 

Here's hoping 2013 is a great year!
