A makeover

Before spring break one evening Savannah treated me to a makeover.  I relaxed on the couch, and she pampered me. It was fun, and I throughly enjoyed letting her do whatever she wanted.   I even picked Trevor up from track looking like this :)

Spring Break

This year spring break all we did was work work work on the house! We worked on putting in our baseboards finally, re- landscaping the front yard, painting downstairs, ordering new window coverings ect. We went to Lowes about a million times not exaggerating.
I was sick all week which made it harder. We did manage to get a ton done though which is good. We did have a little fun as well, we went to the movies with the kids one day, and another day at the end of the week we took them to ITZ for arcade games, we had a bonfire and the kids slept outside one night., made cookies and watched a few movies at home.

Darn kidney

Last Saturday very early morning I woke up with terrible pain on my right side of my back near my kidney.  The pain got so bad I went to the ER. After a few tests, they said I had a kidney stone and swollen kidney. On Tuesday I was still feeling bad, so I went to my regular Doctor.  I was put on antibiotics for a kidney infection. She also said that the ultrasound was not clear they say I have some sort of blockage that could be a kidney stone but they're not positive. It has been a rough week I'm still having bad kidney pain daily. I've even left work early most days. I see a urologist next week.

Slurpie's

Today 7-11 had a promotion going bring your own container get a Slurpee for $1.29 the only rules was it was supposed to be smaller than 10 inches in diameter. The boys walked there with a group of friends with various fun containers. Trevor had a large empty pretzel container from Costco, Griffin had a one gallon pitcher is filled both of those up.
Fun time had by all!

Easter

This year we celebrated Easter a week late.  I've never done this before, and never thought I would, but it worked well for us this year.  The kids woke up to baskets. The boys had new church ties, Savannah had new church sandals.
The kids got all dressed up nicely for Church.
After church we had a snack of Easter deviled eggs.
We had a really nice dinner that that included ham, fresh Strawberries,  asparagus tarts, and lemon water.
For dessert we had lemon pie and brownie nests.

It was a nice (late) Easter!
