Spring Ballet recital

Last night was Savannah's ballet recital.  It was wonderful.  The theme was Nursery Rhymes.  Savannah's class were Little Bo Peep's.  They were darling.  Savannah loves Ballet, and says it going to be her sport forever!

Found this cute stud washing my car for me after school today.

After crashing a few times on her bike this afternoon, Griffin helped clean up Savannah's boo boo's.
She said "Griffin is a really nice brother, and a really good bandager." (Don't even know how to spell it)

This made Griffin decided to get his  own "emergency" kit together, just in case he needs to help someone else.

Savannah, really excited about her very first trophy made a special place for it to sit on her nightstand.  Pretty pink marker on her nice white nightstand.

Soccer party

Tonight Savannah had her end of season Soccer party at a local pizza place.  There was food, friends, and fun!  She has really enjoyed Soccer, and the girls on her team are so sweet.  SHe will be playing again.  She is super excited about her first trophy ever!

Adventures....

Sunday after Church, and a good nap we went on an adventure.  It's funny we've lived here over six years and still have not ssen and done everything.  It's fun to find new hidden places.  I drove by this first place while on my way to look at sewing machines with my friend.  I knew I had to bring the family back to check it out.

After we looked at the cool tree carvings, we walked a bike path located next to the I-40 that runs over the Rio Grande.  It was a nice walk with great views.

Monday after the kids were in school I joined Patrick & his friends on their weekly hike (he's training to climb Mt. Whitney this summer).  The hike was awesome!  It was pretty hard, and at times I could barley keep up.  They don't really take breaks.  In total it was a three hour long hike.  Afterward, we all went out for lunch a The Range.  I'll be joining them as often as I can.

Being super silly when I was trying to take pictures.

In the fall I asked my Mom to make Savannah a Hawaiian dress.  Savannah loves all things Hawaii right now.  It took her longer than expected because of some problems with her sewing machine, but she came thru.  She sent it to us in Feb. (I think), but I have been waiting for it to get warmer before having her wear it.  Finally today I said she could wear it, even though it's cold, again!

It's really cute, and she loves it.  Pretty soon it will be warm enough to wear without a sweater all the time.  Thanks Grandma Linda, you're awesome!!

This is what we woke up to this morning.  It has not stopped snowing either.

It's suppose to get back into the 70's in the next few days.  Warm just in time for Easter!

New Stuff

I got my hair cut and colored.  First time I've ever gone dark.  Had over six inches taken off too.

Savannah finally spent the last of her birthday money. She decided to skip the easy bake oven a get a new bike.  She has had the same one since her 4th birthday, so it was way to small.  She loves this ones because of the tropical flowers.
