Ballet 2014

Savannah had her ballet recital last night.  This year the theme was Around the World.  Her class was from Spain.  She was most excited about dancing with a fan.  She did a great job!  After we went out to dinner at Claim Jumper.  I didn't get many good pictures, and I'm having a hard time uploading the video of her dance. It was raining as we left the recital, and when we pulled up to the restaurant there was a beautiful double rainbow (although, I only got picture of part of it).

Spring Break

Spring Break came and went quickly this year.  We have been back in school for almost a week now.
It was fun, relaxing, and very, very low-key.   Here's what we did and some pictures.  I'm keeping it simple.

Friday- I left work early, and walked to picked the kids up.  I brought them Ocean Waters.

Saturday- Had to wake up @ 4:45am to get Trevor to a bus for a track meet.
Griffin had his last soccer game of the season (it was freezing).
We went out for Indian food for dinner.  We watched the movie Saving Mr. Banks, we all loved it!  Now we've been playing the music a bunch.

Sunday- Church

Monday- I ran around and got stuff for Easter baskets.  Griffin threw up a bunch.  I felt crappy.

Tuesday-  The kids helped us load up the car, and Patrick & I ran to the dump.  Got the car washed.  Walked to Dairy Queen in the evening.  Worked on a puzzle as a family.

Wednesday- Took  the kids to a fun lunch @ Johnny Rockets, then to see the movie Mr. Peabody.

Thursday-  I took the kids to get much needed haircuts. The kids and I worked for a few hours in the front yard.  Weeding, moving rocks.  I took them for some ice cream @ Freddy's to say thank you! (it was messy)

Friday-  I took the kids on a hike to Tent Rocks, it was super awesome!

Saturday- We just chilled.  After dinner the kids and I made resurrection cookies, and talked about the true meaning of Easter.

Sunday- Easter!  Baskets, way too much candy, Church, then a very, very simple dinner (seriously). We watched the newest Superman movie as a family.

And that's a wrap on Spring Break! Here are the pictures.
