Grrrrrrrrr....

So, I really want to get all the vacation pictures up here( mostly for me, like my own journal).
 I'm having such a hard time getting bloger to work well for me.  I'm tired of trying to get
my pictures to look decent.  I've put some, if you scroll to the bottom of the page you can
see older entries.  I'm taking a break from it for now.  Back to regular daily life stuff that
has far less pictures.  When I feel like it, I'll try again.  We did have a FANTASTIC trip.
Thank you to everyone who we spent time with, we had such a great time.
Can't wait to do it again.

Happy 7th Birthday Griffin

Today we celebrated Griffin's birthday!  We went to the movies and saw

Toy Story 3 (Griffin's choice)  it was really good.  I took Griffin shopping

to spend his birthday money.  He ended up buying a remote control

police car, a super soaker, and Lego Indiana Jones for the Wii.

My wonderful talented friend Tracye made Griffin's cake.  He wanted a gumball cake.
It turned out super cute, and he loved it!  The inside was a rainbow of colors.
He had a fun day, and was happy that his birthday was not overlooked due to being
exhausted after a long vacation.  It's been 7 great (sometimes hard) years!  We love
you  so much Griffin!!

Day 13 Sequoia National Park

My Mom lives just over an hour away from Sequoia National park.
She took us up there for the day, and wow was it amazing!
The trees were so big and beautiful.  It was a fun day spent with Grandma.

Day 10 California Adventure

California Adventure day was fun and much more relaxing.  It's a smaller park
compared to Disneyland.  The main reason I wanted to go was to see the new
show called World of Color.  I heard if you go to a certain ride when the park
opens you'd be able to get a fastpass that would reserve you a spot to watch
the show.  We got there when the park opened and the line was CRAZY!!
I decided I was ok with skipping the show and went on to enjoy the park.
We actually went on all but two rides at this park and that was because they
were kinda big and scary for the kids.  Early afternoon Griffin wanted to ride
this water ride Grizzly River Run and when we went to the line we saw that they
had added a third showing of the World of Color show, so we got fastpasses
for that show.  We left the park around 4pm and went to have a fun dinner at
Rainforest Cafe.  We went back rode some more rides and then saw the awesome
show.  The show did not start until 11:15pm and the kids were beat from the two
theme park days.  Griffin actually fell asleep a few times during the show. 
I was glad we were able to see it, it was neat!  We had a great day.

Day 9 Disneyland

This was such a thrilling day for us.  There is something special about Disneyland that
makes you feel so happy inside.  It had been several years since we had gone, so we
were thrilled to finally be back at our beloved Disneyland!  The second ride we rode
was Indiana Jones, right after Trevor picked out an Indiana Jones hat and wore it the rest
of our vacation (he loves it).  Griffin was picked to do the Jedi Training and got to fight
Darth Vardar ( this was very cool).  Savannah met sereral princess (Ariel is her favorite).
Patrick tried to enjoy his favorite Mint Jelups a few times ( Savannah kept drinking them).
I enjoyed seeing the kids all excited the whole day long.

Just a few of the pictures of our day.  It was a super fantastic day!  We got there
at 8:30am and did not leave until 12:30am It was worth every exhausting moment.

Day 7 A day at the Lake

We went up to Jackson Lake with Patrick's Dad, Stepmom, Brother & his kids.
Debbie made a big picnic lunch for us to enjoy.  We talked, played and swam.
I was glad the kids got a chance to spend some time with their cousins.

It was such a nice relaxing day!

Day 4 The Beach

We spent the day at Cardiff By The Sea. Living in New Mexico it's the first time in our life that we have not lived near the ocean. Needless to say, we really miss it. The kiddos had a blast! In the afternoon we had lunch at Inn & Out, the perfect lunch. We went back to the hotel and swam, then took naps. We went back to another beach in the evening close to sunset, then it was off to Uncle George's to give the kiddos a chance to play with their cousins.
