We participated in three different programs this summer.
1. Local libray, read six books, and you can pick a brand new book to take home.
We did this x2
2. Barnes & Noble, read eight books, and you can pick a brand new book from a
certain list they have.
3. Dions Pizza, read six books, and you get a drawstring backpack, book and
bookmark, read six more and you get a tee-shirt, free ticket to an Isotopes game,
and coupon for a free drink at the ballpark.
The kids love to read and do it freely by choice daily, so might as well earn so fun
stuff while doing it!! Here they are with most of their goodies.
We still have lots of books to read this summer. I'm currently reading the
Little House books to the kids. Trevor is in the middle of
the Guardians of Ga’hoole books, and Griffin plows thru books
like nobody's buisness. Hopefully they'll keep this up.
