Cetus the Sea Monster

Savannah's class (and all other 4th grade classes) have been studying Greek Mythology.  Each kid was assigned a constellation to do a report on, and dress up for a wax museum. 

Savannah was assigned Cetus.    Cetus is considered a whale or sea monster. 

This afternoon was the wax museum.  I left work a little early, and met Pat at her school. 

 

The wax museum was really cool.  They had several 4th grade classes in the gym.  All the kids were lined up all over the gym.  Most kids had one hand out with a button (sticker) to push.  When you pushed it they gave their speech about who they were, and how they became a constellation.  

 

It was fun to see all of the kids in their costumes.  When we made our way to Savannah she did a great job telling us all about herself (Cetus).
