California Adventure - Vacation Day 26

We got up bright and early again, this time for California Adventure.

We were tired from the day before.  After getting fast passes for Radiator Springs Racers we went to the Starbucks to caffeine up. Not something we normally do, or let or kids for that matter, but we had zero energy.

We were impressed with how the park looks now after the re-model.  They did a great job.  It has more of a Disneyland feel to it now.

Next up was Cars Land.  I know everyone says it, but it's great!  It feels like your in the movie.

We spent quite awhile after that just going on random rides we came across.  I have to say I was excited to go on Ariel's Under Sea Adventure ride.  I was surprised Savannah thought it was just alright.  She thinks Small world is much better.  What happened?  My girl use to love Ariel so much.

Finally it was time to use our fast passes for Radiator Springs Racers.  We were so excited.

It was so good!  We all loved it so much.  We decided later in the day we'd ride it again even if we had to wait in line.  Should have bought the picture.

Savannah made a friend with Officer Blue on our way to Hollywood Land.  He sure was a funny guy.

Griffin & Savannah wanted to hit up Bug's Land next.

We were over by the pier when we got samples of sourdough bread.  We all loved it.  Griffin actually went back & bought a loaf, then Trevor did as well.  Ultimately we decided to eat soup in bread bowls from Boudin for dinner.  Pretty funny since we didn't go while we were in San Francisco.  Dinner was delish!

At the candy shop we spotted them making these awesome Maleficent cake pops.  They weren't even finished making them, but we asked if we could buy a few, and they happily obliged.  It took them a few minutes for the candy makers to get them to us. They kids felt pretty cool walking around with something that nobody else had.

At this point we decided to get into line for Radiator Spring Racers.  It was one of two lines we waited in all day.  It was pretty long 1 hr. 25 minutes.  It was worth it though.  Fun to do the ride at night. While we waited, the fireworks at Disneyland started & we could see them from the line.

We finished the night walking thru Cards Land.  We wanted to see it all lit up at night.

Last stop Griffin really wanted us to buy a cone drink.  We had such a great day.  We did multiple rides more than once.  Patrick & I even did California Screaming twice.  We only waited twice.  Once for Cars ride and once for Monsters Inc. (25 min)

All in all we had a fabulous time in the Disney parks!
