Today we met up with some old friends. We haven't seen them since before we got married. Christie actually introduced Patrick & myself. They have two kids. A boy Aiden 10 1/2 and a girl Makenna 5 1/2. They are both really cute. We met up at California Science center. We went to see the new Pompeii exhibit. It was pretty cool, lots of great artifacts. We enjoyed it. After that we saw a bit of the museum while trying to chat a bit too. Not super easy when trying to keep an eye on kids.
This guy in the picture above is a volunteer. If I remember correctly he worked on building the Endeavour Space shuttle (that's now housed at the museum). He got the kids engaged in learning all about the shuttle. They followed him all over asking lots of questions.
Eventually the museum closed, but we still wanted to hang out. We decided to drive over to Universal city walk to hang out and have dinner.
It was a really great visit. We had lots of fun catching up with them. Next time we're in CA we will definitely hook up with them again.
