San Fransisco- Vacation Day 11

We had a free day so we decided to go to San Francisco for the day.  It was a typical overcast day.
I really should have done Savannah's hair, but I didn't.  She had scruffy hair all day long.

We walked down to the overpriced tourist trap pier 39 first. Always fun to check that place out.

Trevor got a cool left handed pen here.

Griffin & Savannah wanted to get pearls from the Pearl Factory.  They enjoyed the experience & both got a pretty pearl to take home.

After pier 39 we just walked.  We came across the Boudin Bread Company.  Funny thing.  We took pictures here, bought a souvenir, but didn't get any bread.

Next up was the Maritime National park.  We enjoyed looking at the ships here.

Late afternoon we walked or hiked up to Coit tower.  This time the elevator was working, so we bought tickets to ride up to the top.

The murals inside the tower are beautiful, so we took lots of pictures.

The hike down from the tower was gorgeous!  Hillside homes with beautiful gardens.

By the time we got down we were spent. So much walking exhausted us!  We decided to skip China town.  Next time we'll get some dim sum. Overall it was a really nice day in San Francisco.
