Queen Mary and Mexico - Vacation Day 31

We were looking forward to going to the Queen Mary.  I've actually never been before.  We put on our nicest traveling clothes for the occasion.  Once we were seated our waiter brought us orange juice and sparkling cider (since we don't drink champagne).  The kids were delighted with all the food choices.  Everything was delicious.

After we were done eating we toured the ship.  It was really cool.  I think everyone enjoyed the engine room the most. Patrick loved explaining everything to us.

It was a really great morning,  We loved the food and the ship.  We would do this again for sure.

Afterward we drove down to San Diego and met up with Patrick's mom, then followed her into Mexico.  It was exciting.  We got there just as the sun was going down.

We drove to Patrick's Grandma Nelly's house in Tijuana. She was excited to see us.  Pat's Great Uncle Renee was also there.

We also met the neighbor kids.  One of the boys is a world class soccer player.  He actually just got back from Europe the week before.  He travels all over playing soccer.  They asked the kids to play a game with them, and even had cleats for them to wear.  It was fun to sit out on the curb and watch them play.  Good start to our visit.
